Callisto Quartet (2/26/2023)

Following a highly successful performance on Musica Viva last season, the Callisto Quartet returns to perform once again for our community. Praised for their “lush intensity and bravado” the American-Canadian Callisto Quartet brings together four musicians who share a deep passion for bringing chamber music to audiences around the world. Since their inception in 2016, Callisto has garnered top prizes in nearly every major international chamber music competition and has been hailed by audiences across the globe. They are currently the Fellowship Quartet in Residence at Yale University. Their concert program includes Haydn Quartet, op. 77, no. 2, Caroline Shaw “Entr’acte,” and Beethoven Quartet, op. 74 (“Harp”).
